The food we eat today is a whole different from the food the people ate in Medieval times.
We eat: chocolate, mince pie, cream, ice cream, lollies, noodles, bread, fruit, and way more.
They ate: rotten food, royal banquets, feats, ale bread, fruit and a bit more.
We drink: wine, hot chocolate, fruit juice, fizzy drinks, milk, water and beer.
They drank: wine, water and maybe beer.
Making the food was hard enough. but actually getting the food was even harder.
To get your daily deliver of bread you had to work for it.
OR make it.
OR buy it.
You could also trade things for food. If you were female you were expected to know how to cook for your family.
